Just like many non-profit religious institutions, our income does not always match our needs and we rely on generous people such as you to help us defer some of our expenses. We have many elderly people, some on walkers and some in wheelchairs who found it difficult to use our handicap restroom because of the height of the toilet and consequently, stopped coming to our Shabbat Services. This, as they say is Yiddish is a Shonda (shame). I decided to replace the washers on my kitchen faucet, and did just fine up to the point where I went to turn the water to the house back ON! No way-the old shut off valve just gave up.
